7th edition of the competition “To be Polish”.
Actually it began on 6th November in the Zygmunta Minerki Secondary School at the Polish Embassy in Athens. You can view some photographs from this fantastic event on the website of the Foundation www.swiatnatak.pl
This school year is a year or remembrance and celebration of 1050 years of the Baptism of Poland (Chrzest Polski). Through this baptism Poland has been accepted to the Christian Europe, which provided her with fast development and the beginning of Polish statehood. Looking back through many centuries of our history will enable us to prepare interesting work for our competition. Several thousands of artistic works, which have entered the competition during last six editions show, that the competition can be of great help to teachers in teaching history and Polish language, as well as strengthening the Polish identity in the young people.
